In January of 1801, as recorded in one of his conversation books, Ludwig van Beethoven is attributed as saying
"There ought to be but one large art warehouse in the world, to which the artist could carry his art-works, and from which he could carry away whatever he needed. As it is, one must be half a tradesman."
With the advent of the Internet, I believe that this warehouse for the artist may now be possible, and it is with this in mind that I have begun this blog. The purpose of this blog is to serve as a place for artists of all kinds to come together, share ideas and work, and to be able to give and receive in turn whatever he or she may need.
